The Hitachi EX400-1XM is a heavy-duty earthmoving/mining excavator with a capacity of up to 40 tons. The"XM"version represents a special enhanced specification. The original factory hydraulic main pump assembly (such as the common Hitachi factory part numbers 4278291, 4622371, or 4246412) adopts a high-pressure dual-annular piston pump architecture. During heavy-load excavation or crushing operations, high-precision end face wear inside the pump can cause the entire vehicle to have insufficient engine heat-up, extremely slow movements, or overheating and pressure relief.
